Daughters of the King of Kings!
I have two wonderful announcements!
2026 Overcomer’s Spiritual Spa Starts April 6, 2026
First, I am delighted to announce that the 2026 Overcomer’s Spiritual Spa is starting Monday April 6, 2026!
The Overcomer’s Spiritual Spa is a 23 week Bible study and support group designed to give hope and healing to women who have experienced a toxic relationship. We discuss what the Bible really has to say about healthy relationships, toxic relationships, divorce, how to leave safely, how to use our spiritual armor, healing, and more. We invite the Holy Spirit in and create a community of healing, encouragement, and friendships. And most of all, we get to know how much Papa God loves his daughters. Participants have called it “life changing!” And that is just how God works! He is in the business of changing lives!
Participation is free. Yes, FREE. Participants can join in person or via Zoom. Resources (book and workbook) are available to purchase on Amazon. Here are the links:

Book Awards for Overcoming Workbook
Second, I am excited to announce that the workbook mentioned above Overcoming the Narcissist, Sociopath, Psychopath and Other Domestic Abusers: Workbook for Support Groups and Bible Studies received the bronze medal for excellence in the Global Book Awards and in the faith-based Illumination Book Awards. It is also a finalist in the Selah Book Awards for excellence in Christian literature with awards to be announced in May.
The workbook was 5 years in the making as each group of the Overcomer’s Spiritual Spa had such great feedback that was included in the final book published in 2025. So THANK YOU to everyone who has participated in prior Spiritual Spas or provided feedback!! The Holy Spirit is working through each of you to make a workbook for other women who will benefit from your wisdom!
Endorsements from Participants
I have had the privilege of facilitating support groups and Bible studies since 2015. Since 2020, I have been using the faith-based curriculum in the workbook in what has come to be known as the nationwide “Overcomer’s Spiritual Spa.” I have the blessing of having a front row seat to God’s amazing power of healing in the women who have participated.
Here are just a few of the dozens of endorsements I have received from participants across the country who have attended a support group and Bible study using Overcoming the Narcissist, Sociopath, Psychopath, and Other Domestic Abusers: Workbook for Support Groups & Bible Studies to Recognize, Remove & Recover from Abuse.
This is everything I needed each and every session. This material is what I needed to hear. I needed to hear that God provides, I will come out. The last few sessions on lies we believe and God’s truth – I have no words. E.D.
I loved the progression from wandering to victorious. I love how we start with prayer and knowing we are daughters of the King. This group brings hope. M.C.
I am very thankful for this group. It is hopeful. I tried another group, but God wasn’t part of it. So, it was not for me. I like that this is based on Scripture. H.S.
This study was an awakening for me. Charlene provided the Scripture I needed to move forward. It was hard to believe my ex was a narcissist. I was in a dream. But this study helped me wake up. D.M.
I was uncertain I could move forward. But I heard Charlene’s certainty in God over and over, and the certainty in Scripture that God doesn’t want us to live in abuse. There is so much information. I had tried a therapist, but she gave me bad advice. I am so thankful for this group. J. R.
The book is awesome. And the workbook is phenomenal. J.L.
This has been a capstone experience for me as a woman of faith. I had confused what God really says about staying in an abusive marriage with what I heard in church. I loved connecting with Scripture and other women of faith. It opened my eyes to the lies I had believed, what is really meant about forgiveness, the role of Satan in our abusive marriage. For so long I had prayed that God would fix my marriage. But that wasn’t what God wanted – He wanted deliverance. This study made the scales fall from my eyes. K.C.
Thank you for reaching into the darkness to pull us out of the valley and into the light. J.S.
Your ministry, encyclopedia, and support groups have been nothing short of a miracle for me. C.M.
Recent studies show that 100% of women living in abuse suffer from PTSD, with 87% of them experiencing moderate to severe PTSD. God is the Great Healer, and I have had the amazing privilege of seeing Him work first hand in changing lives. We can’t change the past, but we can join in God’s work to help women heal and make the world a safer place for our daughters and granddaughters. Won’t you join me?
Let’s together make the world a better place – one woman at a time.
